This is one of the first in a collaborative project between myself and John Bailey. John is an extremely talented woodturner in England, and I've even purchased one of his plates myself! This particular bowl's design is loosely derived from the Book of Kells, with added gold tri-knots, and the traditional Triple Berry marks (the small clusters of triple dots) which is a popular decoration in old manuscripts.
