A Celtic eagle from folio 5r of the Book of Kells. He is colored in brilliant blue, powder blue, rich cranberry and sunny gold with faux gold leaf everywhere else! He sits on a field of blue sky... the royal blue and the gold of this piece really makes him feel regal and magestic, and especially since he's an eagle the title seemed very appropriate.
