I was inspired for this piece actually by a sheet of the most beautiful paper I'd ever seen! The bark paper that I used in this and other artworks is made in Mexico by hand, and is extremely delicate to work on. Fortunately the wonderful mottled appearance and velvety texture makes it all worth it!
