The sun on this geode is in the La Tene style, which is an early artwork style of the ancient Celts. The La Tene era dates to between 400 BC to 200 AD, which is just before Christianity was introduced to the Irish Celts. Although this particular design does not appear on any actual artifacts, I wanted to make this one very old looking, which is why I decided to use the La Tene style.
