During the summer of 2000 I had the honor of being invited to join an archaeology dig in Co. Roscommon, Ireland. There I worked on the Ballykilcline Project with Professor Orser and his group, excavating a 19th century Irish cottage just outside of Strokestown. This is a painting of a local holy well on the shore of Lake Kilglass, near our excavation site.
