This bright and flaming fellow was a private commission for a Celtic styled dragon set in knotwork and symbolic elements. In the four corners are placed the emblems of a needle and thread, a Celtic cross, crossed swords, and dramatic masks, flanked by what are commonly called 'Trinity knots' (the 3 lobed knots in the corners beside the emblems). He's a very noble dragon, fierce and strong, with colors of flaming reds and golds in the details of the spiral scales in his body and the knotwork in his wings.
