My Celtic Cross Stitch patterns are free and may be used for any nonprofit purpose. Any other questions about usage of the cross stitch patterns can be e-mailed to me. Arrows indicate where the pattern repeats. The charts also use 1/2 and 3/4 stitches, if you don't know how to stitch those, you may want to check some of the on-line cross-stitch sites for instructions. Smaller versions of each symbol are used in the smaller areas - so these are not new symbols, just tiny versions of those already listed for each pattern. Patterns are stitched with two strands of thread, and backstitching is done with a single strand. The Claddagh Ring is very commonly used for love, marriage, friendship or affection. The crowned heart held by two hands represents Friendship, Love and Loyalty. My Claddagh Design here also has a small Trinity Knot in the center, which you can use or leave out as you like.
